I started out buying crushed opal from other companies, not knowing a fine texture was available. What a difference the fine opal makes for certain applications, e.g., rings with small patterns and bracelets that are difficult to finish sand and polish. I end up using less opal in the inlay and wasting less opal in the sanding process. Yes, you'll pay a bit more for the fine texture, but it's totally worth it, and the finished results are beautiful.

While looking for black opals it became apparent that some sellers are far less transparent than others about origin and many other details, so I really appreciated the information on the website about lab created opals, transparency, what to expect with shipping- all of it! Excellent website and informative approach. The earings are beautifully crafted- not so uniform that they look like rods of color stacked together, but full of vibrant and iridescent variety true to opal beauty.

I couldn't be happier with these ring blanks. Not only are they machined perfectly and true to size but the comfort fit feels amazing on your finger. My wife didn't want to take it off when testing the fit. Well above average company and products. Customer for life....

I used this and the sea foam green and it was one of the coolest rings I’ve made so far I love the way the black has a red shine in it and the sea foam green really stands out with it

The ring turned out great, love the colour and love the fact that the stone comes in both medium and small size. Makes turning a ring much easier. No glue spots.

The black fire opal beads are breathtaking. They have all the colors of the rainbow shining in them and the sparkle is dynamic. I made a necklace and have enough beads to make a bracelet too. I am very happy with these beads even though they are a bit expensive.

Received my first order of Black Opal and discovered Ithat instead of fine size I thought a heavier size would look better
I'm just inlaying the Opal now. Using the Black and some light colored for contrasting color. I find the Black I ordered from " Theopaldealer.com's product is great to work with and deleavers the look I want. Just starting the final sanding. See photo. I will post finished project. Larry Y.

Beautiful color and awesome shimmer. My batch had really pronounced greens and yellows. Really cool contrast. They play way better in sunlight than indoors. I'll be back for more.
