Made a beautiful ring with a tungsten using this. My only "issue" is the fine is very fine. I think next time Im gonna order medium and crush it down a little.
Thank you c.a. for sharing your experince! The ring looks great Medium and Fine size are both great for ring making! For most of our inlay projects, we like to use a mix of Medium and Fine. I will start by placing some medium pieces of crushed opal into my inlay and then fill the gaps around the medium pieces with our fine size. I find that this approach allows me to still capture the beauty of the stone pieces but still have that finished, 'perfected' look without any gaps. It all depends on the final look you are wanting to capture.
