What is Lab Created Opal?

Lab-created opal beads are made through a year long process where silica and polymer layers are carefully built up in a controlled environment, creating unique color patterns. Unlike natural opal, which can be prone to cracking and fading, the polymer stabilizes the material, making it ideal for jewelry making with improved durability and resistance to chemicals. The beads feature striking speckled or striped color patterns, offering a beautiful, long lasting alternative to natural opal.

What is Man Made Nebula Opal™?

Nebula Opal™ is a man-made material created by heat hardening resin to stabilize silica particles, resulting in a unique imitation opal with a marbled, wave-like pattern. This strong and durable material, primarily made of polymer, is less prone to cracking and crazing compared to natural opal, making it perfect for jewelry and crafts. Its high transparency and distinct color patterns offer a beautiful, long lasting alternative to traditional opals.
